Checks you can do
- Copy the complete address from the current inbox and compare it with the recipient used by the sender. Avoid manual truncation or omitted characters.
- Check the countdown and the selected inbox. An expired or destroyed inbox cannot receive usable new mail.
- Look for a bounce or delivery failure on the sending account. A sender may reject temporary addresses before attempting delivery.
- Allow time for delivery and processing, then use Refresh once. Check whether the page reports a connection or request error.
- If rate limited, wait before retrying. Repeated refreshes or connection attempts do not speed up mail delivery.
A bounce says mailbox unavailable
This can mean that the address is wrong, its registration is unavailable, or the inbox has expired or been destroyed. It can also be caused by a receiving-side configuration problem. The bounce text and current inbox state help distinguish the cause.
Do not send another test to an expired address. Create a new active inbox and copy the new address exactly.
There is no bounce, but no message appears
No bounce is not a delivery confirmation. A message may be delayed, filtered by the sender, waiting for processing, or affected by a service-side failure.
For an administrator investigating delivery, useful evidence includes the recipient address, approximate sending time with timezone, sender service and exact error text. Keep passwords and message content out of public reports. Administrators can inspect routing, ingest and processing status.
The sending website rejects the address
The other website controls which addresses it accepts. zipxmail cannot guarantee acceptance or provide a way to bypass that website’s rules. Use an address type accepted by the sending service.
