How long can I use my mailbox?
Choose 1 hour, 24 hours or 1 week; the default is 1 week. Fixed lifetimes expire after creation. Weekly mailboxes expire after 7 days without use and can last up to 6 calendar months with regular use. Receiving email and background polling do not extend their lifetime.
How do I reconnect in another browser?
Save the full email address and password shown after creation. Choose “Connect a mailbox” and enter them in another browser. Each browser session can connect up to 5 active mailboxes.
Can I view my password after closing the credentials dialog?
The displayed password is cleared when you close the dialog; the server only stores a password hash. Copy or download your credentials first. If you lose both your browser session and password, access cannot be recovered. Expired or destroyed mailboxes cannot be restored.
What happens when I delete email or destroy a mailbox?
After you delete an email, the server deletes it immediately. When a mailbox expires or is destroyed, user access ends and the original email and attachment files are cleaned up. Historical email records are managed automatically by the retention policy.
Can I send email with zipxmail?
zipxmail receives email only. Some websites may reject temporary email addresses. Use a permanent email account for important or long-term accounts.
